Azure Heroes: Community Hero badger

What a surprise, yesterday I received my very first badger! I am so thankful and feel very honored to receive the Azure Heroes Community Hero badger for my contributions to the WVD Community and User Groups. I am one of the 550 community heroes to receive this badger.

If you don’t know what the Azure Heroes program is let me explain it you. This is a recognition program for the community from Microsoft. It’s a blockchain-based recognition program where Microsoft collaborated with Enjin , this blockchain technology is being used for issuance and transactions which means that as a recipient of tokenised badger, you take ownership of a digital collectible in the form of a non-fungible token (NFT)

In other words, it’s a fun way to say “Thank you” for all you have done for the community!

This badgers are given out for contributing materially by organizing meetups or conferences or by sharing content and being an active member of the community.

I’m very thankful for getting this recognition for my contributions to our awesome WVD Community !
